A plain description of what oddkin.xyz actually collects and why — checked against this site’s own code, not a generic template. Not a substitute for legal advice.
What we collect
- X (Twitter) handle and wallet address, when you use the early-access registry, the game’s saved-run queue, or the collab request form.
- Contact info, project name and message, only if you submit the collab request form.
- Proof URL and how you found us, only if you use the early-access registry (currently closed to new entries).
- Gameplay data — elapsed time, deaths, score and per-stage results — when you save an Oddkin Run.
- A one-way hash of your IP address, on every form/game submission — used only to rate-limit abuse, never stored or shown as your raw IP.
Why we collect it
- To evaluate early-access and collab requests, and to run the saved-run (GTD whitelist) queue for Oddkin Run.
- To stop obvious abuse — the same IP hash spamming the same form in a short window.
- We do not use any of this for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Where it lives
- A Postgres database (Neon), reached only from this site’s own server-side API routes — never exposed directly to the browser.
- Wallet addresses and onchain activity tied to them are, separately, public onchain data by nature of how blockchains work — nothing this site does changes that.
Who can see it
- The Oddkin team, to review requests and run the site.
- Nobody else. It is never shared with or sold to a third party.
How long we keep it
- For as long as it’s relevant to the feature it was collected for — we have not yet set a fixed automatic deletion schedule.
- Ask and we will delete a specific entry — see contact below.
Your choices
- Submitting a wallet address or X handle to any form here is optional — nothing on this site requires it to browse or to hold an Oddkin.
- You can ask what we have on a given wallet/handle, or ask us to delete it, any time — see contact below.
